Colloidal silica slurry
Standard colloidal silica featuring ultra controlled particle distribution:
ULTRA-SOL® 2EX is a high-purity colloidal silica based slurry specifically formulated for use on devices, oxide layers, and in some optical applications. The slurry is potassium hydroxide stabilized, making it the ideal choice in applications where other stabilizing agents are incompatible with the materials being polished.
The enhanced pH and 70nm colloidal silica particle provide excellent removal rate and a high quality surface finish. Additionally, contaminants such as metals and chlorides are extremely low, making ULTRA-SOL® 2EX excellent for all applications where low levels of contaminants are required.
The unique colloidal silica based formulation of ULTRA-SOL® 2EX performs well in slurry recirculation systems, making it a perfect choice for all types of manufacturing environments.
